The Ethicon Surgical Care business, a part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is recruiting for a Clinical Training Resident, located in Cincinnati, OH or Somerville NJ. The Clinical Training Resident will spend one year at the headquarters and then relocating into a regional sales territory.
The Ethicon Surgical Care business offers a broad range of products, platforms and technologies-including sutures, surgical staplers, clip appliers, trocars and synthetic mesh devices-that are used in a wide variety of minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. Specialties include support for treatment of colorectal and thoracic conditions, women's health conditions, hernias, cancer and obesity. The Clinical Training Resident (CTR) program provides the chance to start a career in the very innovative, competitive and rewarding medical device industry. This role is a unique opportunity to obtain an entry-level position which will develop you for the highly sought after role of medical device sales. As a CTR, you will have the opportunity to learn the medical sales process from the inside by first assisting in coordination and facilitation of sales training to include sales process, marketing strategy, anatomy, surgical technique and more. You will also help to organize, set up and conduct surgical information sessions for key customers including high profile surgeons.
As a Clinical Training Resident you will be immersed in our sales training and education environment. You will be groomed to begin a successful medical device sales career after one year. Once you have completed this year in Cincinnati, you will relocate (with a company relocation assistance package) to an assigned territory within the US to get real field sales experience.
The CTR program is reserved for candidates who fall into one of the following two categories: Have received a college degree within 12 - 18 calendar months of employment. There are multiple CTR job opportunities open throughout the course of the calendar year.
